Back to school again!!! It's pretty good this year, or at least this semester, since I have a spare ( I get to leave early on Mondays and Fridays, and sleep in on Thursday =D). The BBQ yesterday went pretty well, in my opinion, and the assembly was pretty good too. My only qualm is that the speeches that were presented at the assembly were either insufficiently developed, or too boring (since they've been used for the past two years, with minor changes).

We already got homework from Chemistry (Design Lab), as well as a Stoich quiz on Wednesday. I promised myself, and someone else, that I would not procrastinate this year, which is why I have already started my Chem lab. Unfortunately, because I am stupid, I left my Chem textbook in school, so it looks like I will be doing some studying in my spare on Tuesday, as well as at home.

I hope this is a good year, with regards to my studies. This is it.

Why don't you suggest how the speeches can be less boring and more developed for the next two assemblies?

Well, I know that you, Lauren, and Sakshi all tried your best with the speeches. All I can suggest is to maybe increase the enthusiasm when you guys speak, as well as increasing the depth of your speeches.

May I ask what you would like to here more depth about?

Well, a bit more than "Welcome to Henry Wise Wood, Class of 2013!! The home of Scholars, Artists, and Champions!!! We hope you have a great 3 years!!! And to get you in the school spirit, here's Maximus!!!"

That's all I can remember from the speech, off the top of my head. If there is more, and I forgot it, please don't hesitate to tell me.

^ *... hear more…

Well, the first part of the speech that you mentioned was the enthusiastic part that you were expecting. I’m not sure when you left to help with the BBQ but we also mentioned: the amazing executive, Wise Wood community support, interesting and diverse clubs, clubs week, extra-curricular fine arts program, the wonderful band, the lovely choir, drama productions, athletic programs, humanitarian efforts in all sort of events, time and location of Full SAC meetings and ways to find out what is happening in the school.

What else could we have mentioned with less than an hour in time while trying to keep the interest of the students in the audience? Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Yeah, me and Tim left right during Ms. Mann's speech, so I guess we missed that part. Sorry about that, but I was talking mainly about the introductory speech. I'm not saying that you three didn't do a good job for your first time speaking as SAC Presidents. I'm just trying to point out some things that you guys collectively need to work on for the next assembly. I'm sure Tim would agree as well, in case you want to ask him.

Just to clarify, you are saying that more than one person believes that collectively the SAC Presidents need to work on our enthusiasm and depth of our introductory speech.

As well, I should mention that the topics that needed to be covered in the speech we’re similar from the past few years but, the script itself has been completely edited and modified.

Yes, I am saying that more than one person believes that collectively the SAC Co-Presidents need to work on their enthusiasm and the depth of their introductory speech.
