I just found out that I need to send my teacher something relating to my Internal Assessment tonight....The only problem is, I don't know what she wants.....a specific topic? Research question? Are those both the same thing? Time to turn to Facebook, and see what the mass media knows about this =D.

Oh, did I mention I have a History test tomorrow? And that I don't have any book with me to study from? Well, improvisation is always a good skill to know, right? Let's see how this goes....

I think I did pretty good in that essay of mine. It was about an individual's desire for security, as well as the need to be independent, and how they affect the individual's character as a whole. I made quite a few mistakes (I used 3 texts instead of 1), but I hope that everything turns out well, and I get a good mark (80+).

We got homework today (real, textbook, research homework), and that's what I'll be doing for the next 2 hours or so. I want to sleep early, because I have to be at school at 8 (D=) for a SAC meeting. Hopefully I'll make it on time.

Even though school started already, and summer is officially over, my family and I went on a road trip to Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump in Southern Alberta. It was an amazing experience, realizing how the Natives had managed to gather a herd of bison, play on their individual strengths and weaknesses (both physical and psychological), and then provoke a stampede that led them off a cliff. We went on a short hike that took us underneath the Jump itself, and I got goosebumps thinking about the generations of Natives that had gathered at that very same spot, some 6000 years previously, and watched as hundreds of bison fell to their deaths. All in all, it was a very interesting experience, and I would recommend it to anyone who is going there for the first time.

First full, proper, week of school starts tomorrow... with an essay in English. Oh well, that's IB =D

Remember the thousands of American citizens that died today, as well as all the soldiers, no matter from which nationality, that have died in the past nine years. Also remember the thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens that have lost their lives at American and terrorist hands. No one should be forgotten on this day.
Remember the lost.
Remember the fallen.
Remember the forgotten.

Remember my last post about it being a good start to the year? It kind of stands, but then again, I failed my Chemistry quiz, which, as it turns out, was TODAY..... I tried to study in my spare, but I really couldn't... Plus, even if I had, there would have been no point, because the test wasn't on anything that I studied for.... Let's hope the REST of the year is better =D.

Workin' workin' workin' on my lab all day. I don't want to fail one of Henderson's labs, especially not when it's the very first one...even though it doesn't count for marks. People are saying that Chemistry quiz is on Thursday, which could be a miracle: I'll actually have time to study for it then xD. Let's hope this week is a good start to the school year =D.

Back to school again!!! It's pretty good this year, or at least this semester, since I have a spare ( I get to leave early on Mondays and Fridays, and sleep in on Thursday =D). The BBQ yesterday went pretty well, in my opinion, and the assembly was pretty good too. My only qualm is that the speeches that were presented at the assembly were either insufficiently developed, or too boring (since they've been used for the past two years, with minor changes).

We already got homework from Chemistry (Design Lab), as well as a Stoich quiz on Wednesday. I promised myself, and someone else, that I would not procrastinate this year, which is why I have already started my Chem lab. Unfortunately, because I am stupid, I left my Chem textbook in school, so it looks like I will be doing some studying in my spare on Tuesday, as well as at home.

I hope this is a good year, with regards to my studies. This is it.

Toronto trip was pretty fun. Niagara is beautiful, and swimming at Center Island is pretty cool. First SAC Exec meeting today...and it looks like things my actually be good this year...LOL JK, my hopes are too high...

I leave for the smoggy city of Toronto in a few days...Kinda excited, but also kinda sad...let's hope that this trip is fun...And on a side note, what's with all this smoke from B.C.?

I'm sick again...I get intense headaches every time I stand up, and I have painful body aches.....I guess that's what split shifts at YMCA do to you.
